Lynda has over a decade of experience in the legal profession from three jurisdictions (Canada, UK and Nigeria). Lynda has advised hundreds of individuals and businesses (corporations, partnerships, joint ventures and sole proprietorships) on diverse legal matters. Before joining Andrew Law, she worked as a Paralegal in the Edmonton office of Intact Insurance providing Insurance litigation support to the legal team. Lynda obtained her Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2008.

 

Before moving to Canada, Lynda was a senior lawyer with a top-tier business law firm in Nigeria where she headed the Real Estate & Infrastructures team. Lynda has a strong desire for ensuring justice for the underprivileged and people who cannot speak for themselves. She volunteered as an adult court worker with Elizabeth Fry Society where she provided individuals with support and information to help them feel more at ease during their court appearance.

 

Lynda currently serves as a member at large of the Administrative Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. She also taught the corporate governance class to young entrepreneurs at Covenant Capital Business School in Lagos, Nigeria.  

 

Lynda enjoys quiet moments of reading, meditation and reflection as well as building genuine and authentic connections with the people she meets. She is a Yoga enthusiast and likes bike-riding and taking long walks with friends and family.
